Like you, our greatest concern is the well being of your pet. Before putting your pet under anesthesia, we will perform a physical examination. Pre-surgical testing is often recommended to insure your pet's safety by diagnosing any problems not readily apparent. Analysis of a small blood sample gives us an evaluation of the overall body and organ condition. We want to do everything possible to minimize complications that can arise during surgery. Some abnormalities diagnosed may need to be addressed before surgery is begun or It may be recommended not to perform surgery at this time. In this event we will call you.
